February 1, 2015 - Chili Cook-Off at the Murphys Historic Hotel - Superbowl Sunday is our time to cook up Chili for the Food Bank and Local Hospice. Each year we gather teams of professional and amateurs to cook up there chili, tasters pay $10 or 10 cans of food to taste a wide variety of chilis, and vote on their favorite chili and theme. February 7, 2014 - Heavenly Chocolate Festival - We are looking forward to our 4th Annual Chocolate Festival to be an even more delicious "All-You-Can-Eat" dream come true. We have groups come from Fresno, Stockton and San Jose who have not missed a year. In addition to a greater variety of handmade chocolates , the chocolate fountain and beverages, we will be selling chocolate gift items for a special Valentine. You can indulge your chocolate fantasy on Saturday, February 7 between 1 and 4pm at the 1st Congregational Church in Murphys for $12 adults and $5 children 8 and under.
