Sheriff Deptment K-9 Helps Apprehend Subject
Jamestown, CA...On 2/12/15 about 3:50 P.M. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputies saw a vehicle driven by a female, later identified as 27 year old, Stephanie Foster on Circle Drive in Jamestown, CA. The passenger in the vehicle was 26 year old Andrew Buzinskis. The Deputies had prior knowledge that Buzinskis had two active Felony Arrest Warrants for narcotics violations and was suspected to be armed with a handgun. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle and Foster fled and attempted to evade the Deputies. A pursuit lasted approx.. 3/10 of a mile at which time Foster yielded on Golf Links Road. Buzinskis exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The Sheriff’s Department K9 (Justice) was deployed and the K9 entered the vehicle and bit Foster on the arm....
Foster was taken by ambulance for treatment of her dog bite to SRMC. Responding Deputies did not locate Buzinskis. A pellet handgun, was located under the passenger side of the vehicle. An infant was also in the vehicle and was uninjured.
Sheriff’s Office reports are still being completed at this time. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office will be submitting the case to the Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office asking that the above listed charges be filed against Stephanie Foster.
