February 13, 2015 - Plan B at the Murphys Historic Hotel - Plan B returns for a suspicious night of amazing music, come listen from 9pm to 1am.
February 14, 2015 - Valentines Day at the Murphys Historic Hotel - Valentine's Day is on a Saturday this year, do you have your room reservations yet? Contact Deanna and the girls at the Front Desk for room or dinner reservations. If you check our website, we will have the Valentine's Day Menu up shortly, it will be a Coursed Meal planned for you by Chef Joel and Brian. Call 209-728-3444 for reservations.

February 14, 2015 - Love the Forest Concert - This year's EPFW "Love the Forest" concert actually falls on Valentine's Day, Saturday Feb. 14, which is perfect as it is a celebration of our love for the forest and this remarkable Sierra Nevada that we are so lucky to be part of. The concert will be at the Black Bart Theater in Murphys. Entertainment will be provided by local bands and performers. The concert is a sellout event, so stay tuned for more information and tickets become available. Circle the date, Feb. 14, on your calendar now. This year's concert is a benefit for the Community Action Project, a group launched by EPFW in 2005 that is working for a good General Plan for Calaveras.
February 14-15, 2015 - Presidents Wine Weekend - Pr i t’ Wi W k – The Calaveras Winegrape Alliance presents the 19th annual Pr i t ’ Wi W k at all 22 CWA wineries from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a great opportunity to sample the fine wines of Calaveras, celebrate with friends old and new, and take advantage of special discounts. Full tastings will be available in each tasting room for an additional fee. February 15, 2015 - Peppe Gambetta at the First Congregational Church in Murphys - Guitarist Beppe G b tt wi i y o o co c rt of “A ric Root wit Euro P io ” o F b. 15 i Mur y . T concert will be held at the sanctuary of the First Congregational Church at 3 p.m., and marks a return of the internationally known artist who performed an all-American roots concert here last year. The sanctuary is located one block off Main Street, uphill from the Murphys Hotel. A donation for the artist of $15 will be taken at the door.
February 15, 2015 - Native Sons of the Golden West Monthly Breakfast - Chispa Parlor #139 of the Native Sons of the Golden West will serve an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Native Sons Hall from 7:30 to 11:30 am. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate will be served. The breakfast is served on the third Sunday of each month.
