Letter to the Editor~by Al Duncan
I would like to acknowledge kudos and accolades to the efforts, of about 7 local people, men & woman that seem to find time in their lives to go to the Calaveras Co. Board of Supervisors meetings on a regular basis. The research they do to present, usually, sensible data on the topics under consideration by the Board Members, some of which have not been on the board long enough to be well versed, as some of the past members had been is commendable. ....
The topics cover a range from ag preserve issues, union rules, cost of issues to the tax payers, who maintains what and why, aren't there ways to save the tax payers money Etc.
Sometimes it gets a little heated and finger pointing but all in all it's for the betterment of the tax payers. Thanks you folks.
AL DUNCAN
