Angels Camp, CA...Amy Ellen Schmid, age 75, born July 5, 1939 in Laird Hill, TX, passed away March 7, 2015 in Sonora, CA. Amy was a retired dispatcher for the Calaveras County Sheriffs Office, and a member of the Italian Catholic Federation. Amy is survived by her husband Ron of Altaville; son Kenneth Sterrett, daughter Deborah Richardson, and step-son Robert Schmid; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother Benjamin (Lori) Quick of Citrus Heights, and sister Sandra Sue Collins of Dayton, NV. Amy was proceeded in death by her daughter Terri Sterrett and son Keith Sterrett....
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Angels Memorial Chapel on Wednesday March 11 followed by the Rosary starting at 7:00 P.M.
Mass will be held Thursday March 12, at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Angels Camp, CA
Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Altaville, CA following the Mass.
