Calaveras Community Foundation Receives Donation from El Dorado Savings Bank

San Andreas, CA...El Dorado Savings Bank has recently donated $1,000 to the Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF). This is the continuation of a beneficial partnership between El Dorado Savings and the Foundation. A wide range of non-profit organizations and worthy causes in the Calaveras Community will be supported by this donation. The San Andreas El Dorado Savings Branch office maintains a focused commitment to support the local community in our county....

Theresa Justice, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager states, “El Dorado Savings Bank is pleased to continue our relationship with the Calaveras Community Foundation. Being involved with local non-profit efforts and individuals who are seeking financial support here in Calaveras County brings us great satisfaction. Having been in this community for more than twenty years, it’s been exciting to be a part of its growth.”

CCF’s President, Linda Kangeter, adds: “We value the ongoing support of El Dorado Savings Bank. Our partnership with area supporting businesses allows us to impact more lives each year. The Foundation’s annual grant cycle for 2015 has recently concluded where three initiatives were the focus: “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in our schools, Aging in Place Seniors Initiative (to help our seniors age in place in their own homes safely and with dignity), and (new for 2015) the Cultural Initiative. We look forward to continuing to work with El Dorado Savings to promote these exciting initiatives and improve Calaveras communities by providing grants, assisting donors and providing leadership in addressing charitable causes.”

Loyal individual donors and corporate partners’ continued generosity allows CCF to fund viable projects that benefit our county residents, students and seniors. Since it’s inception in 2000, CCF has provided more than $920,000 in competitive grants, scholarships and assistance.

You can learn more about CCF by calling (209) 736-1845 or by visiting the website: www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org
