You May Need An Affordable Care Act Exemption. ~ Gail Lee
Arnold, CA...The 2014 tax season is bringing new challenges with the reporting requirements for the Affordable Care Act. If you did not purchase required qualified minimal coverage, you may be subject to a penalty. If you qualify for one the exemptions from penalty, you may need a Certificate of Exemption from Covered California. Apply for it now. You will not be able to file your tax return without it....
If you qualified for a premium tax credit and have coverage at a discount, your 2014 tax return will show that you qualified for that credit. Depending on your income, you may receive an additional credit or you may have to repay some already received. If you have any questions, call me for a free consultation.
