Calaveras Sheriff Volunteers Provided Traffic Control During Irish Day
Murphys, CA...Under the coordinnation of Sgt. Vic Farina, the following Calaveras Sheriff Volunteers, Lyle Bradt, Louis Chiu, Sgt. Bob Fienberg, Jim Garrick, Kathleen Hogue Gonzalez,Sandra Kraft, Judy McMurtry, Cpt. Betty Miner, Ron Parker and Rudy Silberbauer provided traffic control during the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade last Saturday in Murphys. This annual public event was well attended. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and the festivities at this community event...
The Calaveras County Sheriff Volunteer Unit continues to need more volunteers to assist various communities in holding public events in Calaveras County. Serious-minded Calaveras County citizens, retired or semi-retired, wishing to help their community and meeting the qualifications and requirements are encouraged to apply by calling the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 754-6500, or leave a message at the Sheriff Volunteers voice mail at (209) 754-2889 or visit sheriff@calaveras.ca.us.
