Calaveras Humane Society Offers Pet Care Assistance At Children's Fair
Angels Camp, CA...The 16th annual Children's Fair, put on by the Resource Connection, was held April 11th at the Bret Harte High School in Angels. It celebrates “The Week of the Young Child” held annually to honor young children and all those who make a difference in the young children’s lives. This is the second year the Calaveras Humane Society has participated...
This year Megan Aguilar and Jackie Reeves represented the Humane Society. This is a great opportunity for the Humane Society to educate families on animal care, altering, adoption and the programs we can offer to support Calaveras families and their pets. We offered spay/neuter assistance vouchers and free posters to all the attendees.
The picture shows Megan complete with “cat ears” at this year’s booth. Thanks to Jackie Reeves for the photo and for both of the volunteers for giving their time and enthusiasm.
