April 25, 2015 - Off the Beaten Path Walk / Run for Autism - The event, organized by the Mind Matters clinic, will now feature a 1K run, open to boys and girls aged seven and younger. There will be two other races, 5K and 10K, open to men and women of all ages. The scenic course will begin at the park and continue on Six Mile Road past rolling hills and beautiful vineyards. Participants who would rather walk than run are welcome to do so. Check-in time will start at 7 a.m. Following a warm-up session, conducted by Kat Juarez-Sutton, the first race will begin at 8 a.m. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories. Entry blanks are available at many locations, including the Mind Matters office, 150 Big Trees Rd. in Murphys. They may also be downloaded from the website www.mindmattersclinic.org.
