Murphys, CA...Tuesdays at Alchemy - Winemakers Night - Every Tuesday is Winemaker's Night at Alchemy, featuring $5 glasses of local wines, free live music on our patio from 5:30-8, our entire regular menu, plus wine paired specials. Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.

April 24, 2015 - Live Music at the Prospector Brewery - Enjoy Jill Warren from 7-9 pm.

April 25, 2015 - Off the Beaten Path Walk / Run for Autism - The event, organized by the Mind Matters clinic, will now feature a 1K run, open to boys and girls aged seven and younger. There will be two other races, 5K and 10K, open to men and women of all ages. The scenic course will begin at the park and continue on Six Mile Road past rolling hills and beautiful vineyards. Participants who would rather walk than run are welcome to do so. Check-in time will start at 7 a.m. Following a warm-up session, conducted by Kat Juarez-Sutton, the first race will begin at 8 a.m. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories. Entry blanks are available at many locations, including the Mind Matters office, 150 Big Trees Rd. in Murphys. They may also be downloaded from the website www.mindmattersclinic.org. April 26, 2015 - The Angels Camp Business Association invites you to join us for our Ninth Annual “Taste of Calaveras” at CAMPS Restaurant from 12-4 pm. This annual event is a celebration of wine, food, art and culture of Calaveras County showcasing only Calaveras businesses and products. Calaveras artists will be attending with a special art show along with a silent auction featuring Calaveras Experiences and Calaveras products. During the day, there will be local entertainers and demonstrations. All ticket holders will receive a commemorative Wine Glass, wine and food tasting and a great day enjoying a Taste of Calaveras. May 2, 2015 - Spring Release Party at Tanner Vineyards Tasting Room - Get your tickets now for our Spring Release Party! May 3, 2015, Artist Reception at Hovey Tasting Room - The award-winning oil paintings of Charles Waldman will be featured the month of May at Hovey Winery Tasting Room. An artist’s reception will be held in his honor from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Complimentary appetizers will be served and wine will be available by the glass or bottle.
