Tuesdays at Alchemy - Winemakers Night - Every Tuesday is Winemaker's Night at Alchemy, featuring $5 glasses of local wines, free live music on our patio from 5:30-8, our entire regular menu, plus wine paired specials. Tuesdays at the Black Bart Theater - The Black Bart Theater is proud to present Tuesday Bluesday. Every first and third Tuesday of the month, the stage and mic are open to local musicians. Fridays & Saturdays in Murphys - Local Food & Wine Tours - Join Murphys Food and Wine Tours every Friday and
Saturday from 11:00am to 2:30 pm. Each tour is approximately three and a half hours. You’ll get the inside story about the area’s rough-and-tumble past. Purchase tickets online by visiting Local-Food-Tours.com or by calling 800-407-8918 directly. Private group tours are available by appointment.

Fridays and Saturdays at Zucca Tasting Room - "Zucca After Hours" is open 5-8 pm. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a Friday or Saturday night, the Zucca garden is your place. We always welcome your picnic items or takeout from area restaurants should you want to make a night of it.

Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.

June 11, 2015 - Wines of the World at the Murphys Historic Hotel featuring Judy Creighton "The Cheese Lady" - starts at 5:30 pm - call 209-728-9467 for reservations and information. Judy will present cheeses paired with award winning wines from the 2015 Professional Wine Competition at the Calaveras County Fair.

June 12, 2015 – First Friday in the Park – John Covert and Crystal Image - The Murphys Community Club’s popular series of First Fridays in the Park concerts will have its initial 2015 performance on June 12 starting at 5:30 p.m. The featured musicians will be John Covert and Crystal Image, a variety band playing classic rock, country, blues, oldies, originals and more. This event is actually scheduled for the second Friday in the month to avoid conflict with the Bret Harte High School graduation. During the series, the food hut will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. At each of these programs a specially prepared dinner, with an entree and appropriate side dishes, will be available at $10 per person. Local wines, along with soda and water, will be available to purchase. Alchemy will cater the meal. There is no admission charge.
