Carmel, CA...Local Greenhorn Creek Golf Resort Men’s Club Members Paul Agriesti, Don Pulliam and Wayne Cuff qualified and played this week in the Northern California Golf Association’s 36 hole SENIOR NET CHAMPIONSHIP at the iconic Poppy Hills Golf Course in Carmel...
It was crunch time as the final round of the annual NCGA Senior Net Championship was held Tuesday at par-71 Poppy Hills Golf Course.
Greenhorn Creek member Paul Agriesti (pictured below) finished regulation tied at 1-under 141 after final rounds of 74 and 72, respectively in the Zinfandel Flight (handicap index 15.5-above). Paul began the day two behind the leader, carded six birdies but also had three bogeys and two double-bogeys and found himself competing for the win in a sudden death playoff - his opponent won the playoff on the first hole. Wayne Cuff and Don Pulliam competed in the Chardonnay Flight (handicap index 11.0 & below) finishing T-14 and T-24 respectively. Congratulations Paul, Wayne and Don from the Greenhorn Creek Men’s Club!
