Roy Edward Hillabush Jr 1933 to 2015

Valley Springs, CA...Roy Edward Hillabush Jr., age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born in Batavia, New York on October 12, 1933 to Roy and Evelyn Hillabush. He served in the military from 1951-1954. On July 2, 1955 Roy married Joyce Curry. Throughout his life he faithfully served his God and church as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Elder. He was currently a member of the Clements Community Church. As a school board member, Boy Scout leader and Child Evangelism Fellowship treasurer he shared his wisdom. Roy was a gifted mechanic and talented woodworker and enjoyed making wooden toys for his grandchildren, great grandchildren and all.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, and their three children: Duane and Marilynn Hillabush of Valley Springs, CA, Brian and Rhonda Hillabush, missionaries with IDEA in the Philippians, and Susan and Cannon Stone of Colorado Springs, CO; and his nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Other surviving family members include his three sisters: Nancy Daley of Fort Meyers, FL, Emma Paddock of Pavilion, NY and Karen Hillabush of Cortland, NY.

A memorial service will be held on July 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the Clements Community Church in Clements.
