James Allen Wagoner 1931 - 2015

Hathaway Pines, CA...James Allen Wagoner died of natural causes while at his home in Hathaway Pines California, on July 1st 2015 at the age of 84. James was born January 11th 1931 in Jonesville, North Carolina to Luke and Bessie Wagoner; he was the youngest and last surviving of four brothers. He graduated from Jonesville High school in North Carolina. After high school he then enlisted in the Navy, and served four years at Moffett Field California from 1950 to 1954. After the Navy, James worked for United Airlines for 35 years as a lead mechanic at the SFO jet shop.

James was survived by his wife Patsy Wagoner; eight children, John Cox, Sheryl Cox, Teresa Cox, Mark Wagoner, Tara Wagoner, Michael Wagoner, Allen Wagoner, Melissa Wagoner; eighteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. James was devoted to his family and his church where he served as a Deacon for 53 years.

There was a viewing on Monday July 6th 2015 from 1-4pm at San Andreas Memorial Chapel 254 W. Saint Charles Street in San Andreas, CA 95249. Then on Tuesday there was a memorial service at First Baptist Church 1555 Depot Road in Angels Camp California at 6pm.
