Durable course maps will be issued during check-in at the registration desk. Preview Course Maps: Century * Metric * Half *Quarter Recommended Starting Times: Century: 6:30 - 7:30AM, Metric: 7 - 8 AM, Half: 7:30 - 9 AM, Quarter 8 - 9:30 AM All courses close at 6 PM

Your safety at the Ebbetts Pass Century is most important to us. This event is not a race, but rather an organized and supported ride to enjoy and challenge yourself in a beautiful setting. None of the roads are closed for cyclists so sharing the road is imperative. Single file riding must be maintained at all times except for passing. Please properly dispose of all trash. During descents keep your speed manageable and expect on coming traffic on blind corners. Other than that have a spectacular day!

We think food/fuel is one of the most important aspects of an organized ride. Starting on Saturday morning, the Smokin Barrell Cafe located in the Bear Valley Lodge complex will open early at 6AM.

Food during the ride includes hard boiled eggs, PB&J's, Clif Bars, fruit (bananas, oranges, melons), potato chips, rice cakes, fig bars, cookies, pretzels and other treats to keep you pedaling strong. Beverages include water, Gatorade, V8, and cold sodas.

This year we will be serving the pasta salad lunch for Century & Metric riders at the top of Ebbetts Pass. Half Century riders at Mosquito Lake and Quarter Century Riders at the Spicer Reservoir.

The post ride meal this year will be grilled chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, salad, and bread, prepared by Chef Bob from the Bear Valley Lodge, and served in the registration area from 3:30-6 PM.

This Saturday's forecast is calling for a morning low of 52ºF followed by a high of 75ºF. Sounds like excellent cycling conditions to us! In addition Bear Valley has enjoyed a moist summer with numerous thunderstorms to keep the wildflowers blooming.
