Suite Deals From Murphys Suites For Labor Day

Murphys, CA...Murphys Suites welcomes you to the area's newest and finest accommodations. While building this exquisite facility, we only had one thing on mind, "Our Guest Comfort." Whether you are enjoying time in your luxury suite, relaxing by the fire in the lobby, or meditating in one of our sitting areas, you will notice the local owner's extra little touches intended to add to your feeling of "home". Strolling from one end of the complex to the other may leave you breathless, so be sure you're rested upon entering the "Bell Tower." Here you will be amazed with the sheer size and beauty of a local artist's rendition of family member Jim Egan's legendary bull ride. A must see!!! Be sure to visit both ends of the Suites. At the other end, you will find a fitness room, sauna, outdoor pool, whirl pool spa, and laundry facilities. After all of this walking around, hiking the stairs may no longer appeal to you. May we suggest you take the elevator, located conveniently in our lobby at the center of the building. While in the lobby, be sure to take advantage of complimentary espresso drinks and Oreo cookies.

Murphys Suites was built in 2001 by owner and developer Dennis Lee of Lee-Way Construction and Development Company. The 70 suite facility opened to the public in December 2002. Just in time for the holiday, and to show our spirit of the season the hotel's perimeter was adorned with white lights and the lobby was decorated with Christmas cheer. The grandeur of the lobby's high ceilings with rugged exposed beams, hand milled pine railings, elk horn chandelier, and the warmth of the fireplace wrap around you giving you the comforting feeling of a high mountain lodge.

The main stairway and "bell tower" reveal local history and landscape through murals painted by local artist Mike Darby. These masterpieces represent life in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. From its majestic beauty in Spring to historic ways of life. Gazing into these scenes can transcend you back in time to a simpler way of life and let your high stress way of life melt away.

In modern times, Murphys Suites has been host to many entertainers that have traveled to the Mother Lode for the Ironstone Summer Concert Series. Autographed pictures and posters can be found throughout the lobby. Some of our most memorable guests are the Doobie Brothers, Keb Mo, Willie Nelson, and B.B. King.

We have been privileged to take care of many guests; young and old, famous and not, families and singles. We look forward to treating you to a very comfortable stay and we will do our best to accommodate your needs in any way possible.
