Bear Valley, CA.... Hey Good People!!!! 6" of new snowfall in the last 24hrs at the base Lodge area and 8-10" up on the summit. A brisk 17F is the current temp and the high today looks to be in the mid to low 20's. Some residual snowfal in the realm of 1-3" is expected to fall today with winds shifteing to the ENE as the day progresses and the storm system heads East. Unsettled weather in the form of snow is expected through the weekend coupled with cool temps which makes for a great start to the season.
Today
Snow showers likely, mainly before 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. West southwest wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tonight
A 30 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. East northeast wind 5 to 9 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
