A Beautiful Crisp Morning With Bluebird Skies Makes For A Stellar Opening Day!
Bear Valley, CA....Hey Good People!!!! Opening Day is here!!!!!!!! With the recent snowfall activity and cold temps we are opening today on natural and man made snow cover. The Kuma Chair, Cub Chair and Cub Club Carpet lift will be in operation this weekend. Mokelumne West will be the ride off the summit as thin conditions still exist all over the upper mtn and the Cub Meadow and Mikey's meadow learning areas will fill out the remainder of our open terrain. We have 2 feature Parks open this weekend, one on the summit and another on the lodge run by Grizz Top. Today's high will be right around 29F with East winds from 7-11mph. The forecast for Sunday is similar with a slight increase in daytime temps. Beyond that the beginning of next week will be beautiful and clear and a return of snow will show it's face on Thursday and linger possibly into the weekend...
