Winter Seasonal Care Tips from Mother Lode Bonsai Club
San Andreas, CA....During our cold days and even colder winter nights, now’s the time for taking important steps in the care of bonsai trees, especially when most are hibernating. Sensei (teacher) Frank Garcia of Sonora will provide a free public demonstration on the basics of repotting and styling at the Mother Lode Bonsai Club’s meeting on Saturday, February 6. The meeting will be held at the Oak Shadows Mobile Home Park Clubhouse, located at 1330 Calaveritas Road (off Mt. Ranch Road) in San Andreas...
Anyone with an interest in bonsai is invited to attend this training demonstration, which immediately follows the club’s general meeting at 10:00 a.m. According to Bob Dean, club president, “We welcome all regardless of their knowledge or experience with bonsai. I’m sure that you will find this presentation very rewarding and full of information. Best of all, our members will gladly assist you in getting started with this popular hobby.”
For more information, go to the club website at www.motherlodebonsai.org or contact Dean at (209) 754-5887.
