Hey Good People!! Five Inches Of New Snow For A SLUSH CUP Racing Finish To Season ~ By Mattly Trent

Bear Valley, CA....Hey Good People! 5" of new snow in the last 24hrs!! Sunday is here and so is our closing day for the 2015/16 season. The temps have struggled to come down over night and 2-3" of new snow fell after we closed and add the 2" from yesterday and we're sitting on 5" of new in the last 24hrs!!!! A bit more than expected.... YES. The high today will upwards of 42F with winds out of the S-SE from 0-5mph. Less than 1/2" is expected to fall today but hey....it's snow, right? Continued warm temps will be in effect for the next 4-5days so a mix of rain and snow is expected. The Grizzly bowl was closed for the season Thursday due to non freezing over night temps and the snowpack was trying to stay cohesive but just not able to do so. Our final day for the season will bring the 11th Annual slush Cup so come on up to Bear Valley and enjoy the ride! All weather Highway 4 is the easiest drive to any resort on the West slope! We're about "Pure Mtn Fun" so come check us out.

Sunday
Rain and snow showers likely. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday Night
A chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm, then a slight chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Peace Out,
Mattly
