I heard John mention open mic night at Sidewinders, but I could have sworn I saw a "For Lease" sign in their window this weekend! Again!

John,
Seriously, didn't you learn way back in your speaking/journalism career that you don't wear sunglasses when speaking to a group? You really gotta lose the sunglasses during your interviews. . .

Our we the 1 percentiles because of all the weed we grow up here? We should be proud of all of our pot farmers, I rate them down a little from the grape growers, the reason is some need to bathe more then twice a month. They both poison our land and our minds. Alcohol is much worse then marijuana though, and cause many problems to our health and lives, including death. It seems most "farmers" are some sort of criminals or other type of drug users in the first place, maybe if they weren't, things could change. I know one 'farmer" and I would trust that person with anything I have or own, but some of the 'farmers' I've seen I wouldn't trust even if I had secured a loaded shot gun taped to his back molars (if they actually had some teeth).
It's a crying shame our local politicians sold out our community to these "farmers" for the money that they have coming in to balance our budget, and we will now have a surplus. We can thank these people come harvest time, when the buds are swollen and dripping with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Face it, this is better then having a meth lab next door, and a step up the ladder from being a chemist in the making.
Congrats to our community, we should be proud of our ranking.

One car drove by during the entire, 5 minute segment focusing on Copperopolis town square. ONE!
Sorry, but not amount of farmers markets or cheesy cover bands is going to make Copper a "destination."
Look at Yelp. All reviews call it a creepy, vacant ghost town in the middle of nowhere.
They never should have built the place.
