Injuries Sustained In Camanche Parkway South Collision
Valley Springs, CA...A 60 year old Valley Springs man was driving his Ford F250 southbound on Camanche Parkway South, south of Arapaho Way. A 40 year old Rail Road Flat woman was driving her 2003 Chevy Tahoe northbound on Camanche Parkway South approaching the pickup. For an unknown reason, he allowed his F250 to drift onto the right shoulder and collide with a dirt embankment. His vehicle then crossed into the opposing lane of traffic, directly into the path of the Tahoe. She took evasive action, but was unable to avoid a collision. The left front of the Ford subsequently collided with the left front of the Chevy. The force of the collision left both vehicles disabled along the east shoulder of Camanche Parkway South.
McAllister was transported by ambulance to Modesto Memorial Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Newell and Pavlacky were transported by ambulance to Sutter Amador Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Drugs and/or alcohol are not considered a factor in this collision.
