Great Work By Local Law Enforcement!! ~ By Leanne Weatherman Smith
Murphys, CA...Huge thank you to Calaveras County Sheriff's department for apprehending a home invasion criminal in Murphys today! If three local citizens had not chased him down he may have evaded the officers for hours. To all the locals who stopped to help catch and spot the guy in the creek, you are all awesome!
Yours truly saw the criminal prior to the chase and was able to help ID him for officers after. Note to criminals you ARE NOT WELCOME to calaveras county! I would like to be informed of and join any group making sure that a huge portion of that cannabis money goes to add more officers to our streets!! Thank you so much to all the officers and locals who helped get this guy off our streets!?
I am so proud of our town!
