Calaveras Senior Of The Year Luncheon
Burson, CA...Make your reservations, today, for the 2016 Senior of the Year Luncheon from 10:00am – 2:00pm on October 12th, hosted by the Calaveras Commission on Aging. This year, the event will be held at the Dodasa Ranch in Burson located at 5059 Carol Lane.
All nominees for 2016 Senior of the Year will be honored with a Certificate of Appreciation and acknowledged by District Supervisors.
Reservations for the luncheon can be made at 209-498-2246 at Common Ground, Senior Services, in San Andreas. Cost for the lunch is $10 and is payable at the door. Everyone is invited to the festive event.
The beautiful Dodasa Ranch is open year-round with activities for all age groups. The many offerings include a Pumpkin Patch, Summer Camp for children, Camp Runamuck for adults, weddings and much more. Call 209-481-4976 for further information.
The Calaveras Senior of the Year started in the 70’s and recognizes valuable volunteer services in the county and the hard-working nominees and recipients of past awards are thrilled with the recognition by their peers. Nomination letters were sent to service organizations throughout the county asking for submissions.
