Outdoor Burning Remains Suspended
San Andreas, CA...CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit reminds everyone that we are still in declared fire season and the burn suspension.
Even with the upcoming storms this weekend, we remind you that all outdoor burning is prohibited until the burn suspension is lifted. Several residents in both Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties have recently been issued misdemeanor citations for burning debris. If you already have established debris piles, we suggest that you cover them with tarps to keep them dry until burning is allowed.
If you have questions, you can contact your local burn line number as they will have the most up to date information and will be notified when CAL FIRE rescinds the burn suspension.
Calaveras County Burn Line: (209) 754-6600
Tuolumne County Burn Line: (209) 533-5598
San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties Burn Line: (877) 429-2876
