Moving Closure From SR 88 & SR 49 To Amador & Alpine County Line

Amador County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 88 (SR-88). Work will occur as follows:

A moving closure of the #1 (left), #2 (right) and two-way left-turn lane on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from SR-49 in Jackson to Wagon Wheel Drive for striping operations beginning Friday, November 18, 2016, through Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Peddler Hill Road to Tragedy Springs Road for paving operations beginning Monday, November 14, 2016, through Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Silver Lake Campground to the Amador/Alpine County line for paving operations beginning Monday, November 14, 2016, through Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 15-20 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
