Bret Harte Boys Basketball Teams Score no Wins with Summerville Bears(UPDATED WITH VIDEO) ~ By Bethany Monk
Angels Camp, C.A...Three times is no charm when you're talking weekend basketball for the Bret Harte boys basketball team...
The varsity team suffered a 55-50 loss to the Summerville Bears Saturday, Jan. 19 during its home game at Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp. The JV team lost 43-40.
When asked how his team played Saturday, Bret Harte varsity basketball team coach Rich Cathcart said, "Not well enough to win," adding that there were no standout individual plays.
Scores for the freshman team, which also lost to the Bears, were not available.
All three Bret Harte basketball teams will play their next games in Linden Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 5, 6:15 and 7 p.m.
