Black Bart Players Looking for a Few Good Men...Tonight!~By Krissi Krob
Murphys, CA...The Black Bart Players will hold an extra audition tonight for their spring comedy, "White Sheep of the Family" at 7 p.m. at the Black Bart Playhouse, 580 S. Algiers St. in Murphys....

Four men are needed, ages 18 to 80, to play these roles:
James Winter: A refined patriarch of the clan and a very fine cat burglar and safe cracker in his own right along with be a fine upstanding member and deacon of his church.
John Preston: Deputy police commissioner at Scotland Yard who is trying to put a stop to a rash of mysterious burglaries and is also the father of Angela, the soon-to-be daughter-in-law of James.
The Vicar: A bit of doddering old fool who is easily confused but has a very good heart who is completely oblivious to the family's criminal profession or anything else for that matter.
Peter Winter: The son, a very talented young forger who is going to give it all up for the love a beautiful young woman, not realizing she has a secret of her own.
It is an ensemble cast so there are good scenes for all the characters and no one person carries the show. Experienced director Diane Brown has taken this show on for spring, and the Players are all looking forward to working with her and welcoming new faces into the theater!
