Snowshoe Springs Association & Mutual Benefit Water Company is Now Hiring

Dorrington, CA...SNOWSHOE SPRINGS ASSOCIATION And Mutual Benefit Water Company JOB DESCRIPTION PART TIME MAINTENANCE PERSON. This position is part time hourly, with no additional benefits. The number of hours worked in a pay period shall not exceed forty (40) hours. Emergencies excluded. The Association operates on a bi-monthly pay period schedule. This position is under the supervision of the Association manager.




Specific and general duties:
Reading of water meters (296 meters) every month between the 15th & 18th of the month starting in January. Compiling the data from the readings to determine the water use, and delivering the results to the manager no later than the 20th of the month. During the winter months, the meters may not be accessible. Meters will be read at the earliest date when accessible regardless of the month. All water leaks within Snowshoe Springs Association property will be repaired immediately upon discovery. All residential leaks located will immediately require the water to be turned off to that residence and the manager notified.

This position is responsible for completing tasks on an as-needed basis. The nature of such tasks will be assignments related to the maintenance, monitoring, or mitigation of the Snowshoe Springs Association water system and common areas including the required fire clearance requirements and general safety of members and guests using the common areas. Availability on an as-needed basis for emergencies, water leaks, and/or events related to the daily operation of the Association is required. All storage facilities will be maintained in an organized and accessible manner. General supplies will be available on site and maintained for use in repairing leaks. Attend all board meetings and give a report to the board on the condition of the water system, water usage, repairs made or needed and the condition of the common areas. Management may from time to time require other duties assisting in the overall operation of the Association.

Qualifications:
1. Must have and maintain a valid California drivers’ license and a vehicle properly registered and insured at all times while in the employment of Snowshoe Springs Association.
2. Must have the California Department of Health Services distribution operator D-1 certification.
3. Must pass a background check and have no felony convictions.
4. Must have access to the internet, home and cell phone for contact in emergencies.
