Over the three days a total of one full pick up load and 1/3 of a utility trailer were collected and will be on their way to Mariposa County today.

If you want to send a donation to the Detwiler Fire victims the Mariposa Community Foundation is collecting the funds.
You can send a check to: Mariposa Community Foundation. Note Detwiler Fire in “item” section of your check. Mail to: Mariposa Community Foundation at PO Box 5008-229, Mariposa CA 95338
The Mariposa Community Foundation is collecting the funds and has the means to distribute them. They were extremely helpful after the Telegraph Fire.

Back in the Old Country, Totes were an evil omen.

In our village when we had trouble with Totes we sent messengers to Poland for help.
Poland sent some strong men to handle them Totes, push em, catch em, grab em and put em out of our village.
We called them Tote em Poles.
