Planning Commission Notice of Public Hearing on Tuscany Hills
San Andreas, CA...PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING LEAD AGENCY: Calaveras County Planning Department, 891 Mountain Ranch Rd., San Andreas, CA 95249 2001-154 EXTENSION OF TIME FOR APPROVED TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION TRACT MAP FOR RED MOUNTAIN RESORTS, LLC (TUSCANY HILLS PROJECT). A 36-month Extension of Time (EOT) for approved Tentative Subdivision Tract Map 2001-154 for the Tuscany Hills Project. The purpose of the EOT is to allow the applicant the necessary time to complete the conditions of the approved map. The subject property is 1,113.63 acres and located west of Tulloch Reservoir and south of the Copper Cove and Saddle Creek Subdivision developments in the Copperopolis area. APN 053-020-009 is a portion of the Rancheria Del Rio Estanislao Land Grant and Lot A, ROS 19-172 in un-surveyed sections in T01N, R21E, MDM. An Environmental Impact Report, CEQA Findings, Mitigation Monitoring Plan and Statement of Overriding Considerations were prepared and circulated for review, and were certified by the Board of Supervisors, via Resolution 2007-146, on July 24, 2007. As no material changes to the project are proposed by this time extension request and as surrounding land uses have not changed since the original approval, the approved EIR remains the appropriate CEQA document.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on October 26, 2017 at 9:00 a. m. or soon thereafter to consider the above referenced project. The public hearing will be held in the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chambers, Government Center, 891 Mt. Ranch Road, San Andreas, California.
Pursuant to Government Code 65009, if anyone challenges the above listed issues in a court of law, the challenge may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raise at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Commission, at or prior to, the public hearing. You are welcome to review the application at the Calaveras County Planning Department during normal working hours, 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., Monday through Friday except county holidays.
