Dont know how much they are doing.
Grey truck, white male caught breaking into house. Calls cops. They dont show up for ever.
They finally do and this yahoo in a broken down truck leads 4-6 cop cars on chase, DITCHES THEM BEHIND WHITE PINES and to make matters worse one of the sheriff deputies lost him and got his cruiser stuck.
Scanner has him calling a tow now.

You have got to be kidding me.

Whomever you decide to vote for in this sheriffs race please take notice what is happening here in Arnold into consideration.
This is what we are dealing with in this crime wave.

Kwik serve has the perp on camera but I guess the camera doesn't actually work.
Kinda like last week where they were broken into and the alarm didnt actually work either.

Go ahead John, you cant take down the nonstop spam but you'll erase this since its telling the truth about whats happening in the area.

Yup online its telling us that this guy is one the loose and we should lock our doors.

Holy hell officers, why don't you let us locals deal with this? For one we wouldn't have gotten our cars stuck chasing a tweeker in a broke down truck.

These tweekers are running this town.

This is why I carry a gun, registered but no permit and always have a few loaded ones inside my house. I have no kids, but if someone is on my property and tries to break in, I'm going to unload it on that person, no if's an's or buts. And I won't try to wound him, wounded people can live and sue me for protecting my families life and property. Nope, I'm not a hard ass, I'm just protecting my family from harm. A pacifist or liberal I'm not. I worked for my belongings.

Maybe if we legalize weed, criminalize guns, and make felonies misdemeanors that will do it.
            Wait, thats what just happened.

            It's really simple.
The state of CA voted in prop 47 and 57
Now everything is a citation. Keeping any criminal in jail is impossible. Check with Gov. Brown.
His early release program is fantastic.
You want to blame somebody. You blame the Gov. And his cronies that supported that vote.
You want to blame somebody, look to the voters.
You want to thank somebody. Thank the Sheriff, the deputies, the CHP and Angels PD that stepped in to help. They put their lives on the line today. How about gaining some respect for those men and women. Yes, we are all tied of this fellow. But he is back on our streets because of early release and voter initiatives.
Not the officers and DA! They get to follow the law. Not make laws.

So should we blame Jerry that he was able to lose 4-6 cop cars in an old beat up truck? Seriously?

I support law enforcement. I respect law enforcement
but I also know they have to be accountable and be able to get called on when they screw up.

How many times has this thug ditched our local law?

You know you can support our boys in blue, through and through without wondering why the same mistakes keep happening right?

They had angels police up here in Arnold? I live in white pines. I heard them coming thru. I thought. Maybe someone at the moose lodge needed a medic. Thank goodness they were no kids out in the street playing. Or something. They had to be going over 50. They were flying!

There you go. We pay for a new jail to "house criminals" but they get let out. Check mymotherlode, it's there, Felon arrested with a loaded gun. What do they do? Put bail at $10,000 hoping the felon comes up with bail so "we" don't have the expense to house the criminal. If this was a felon in the (sorry) Bay Area, the bail would be $150,000 minimum.....of course if it was SF and he was illegal, he'd walk.
Tough on crime? Sure as hell not here. To further the problem, our good law enforcement officers are going after the same guys, time after time, wasting time and money because our Judges keep letting the same people walk with this low bail amount.

RIP Katie Steinle......Lord knows her Father and Mother never will

Illegals are not involved in this case, so I'll ignore that part of the rant.

But I agree that these local criminals should be kept in our new local jail and not allowed out on low bail. I don't know if the DA is not asking for higher bail or judges are not imposing higher bail, but someone is not doing their job correctly. Or maybe the sheriff doesn't want the expense of feeding and guarding prisoners in the jail. Whatever the root cause, this turnstile justice is not working for citizens plagued by repeat offenders.

BTW, Brown was under court order to deal with prison over-crowding and did what he had to do. None of that applies to our local jail, which is not part of the prison system.

4 cruisers chasing a misdemeanor, most likely a $500 tow bill. Who caught this dickhead breaking into a house and why didn't they shoot him? Deputies get paid by the hour, coroner is salary.

Please no names of potential suspects unless they are in a release from a law enforcement agency

Good ol *bleep*xx I’d like to see your name on a cheap engraved stone rather then a police report for once.

This county is a joke, you have repetitive crooks and meth addicts robbing everyone. Marijuana, which was supposed to and could fund more sheriffs and bring in a *bleep* ton of tax revenue for the county gets constantly shuffled back and forth as an unresolved issue instead of moving the hell on to bigger fish and being able to actually collect that money. People on here complain that the cops should have caught him, The persuit was mostly in residential areas including my own. I rather Not get hit at 100 mph over a cowboy cop trying to catch the guy. He will be back out in two months anyways. Vote smart! Stop being stupid.

I agree Especially on the marijuana issue. People in this county have a hard time realizing that marijuana has been grown here for decades. Difference is, the criminal background checks and licensing just made it to where it’s now just a new cash crop for those willing to do it legally. For those that aren’t. The competition of the legal growers will drive them out. The money it will bring in will drive them out. Ban it, and nothing will change. The county will remain this way and the gang bangers and cartels get to grow with little chance of getting caught. Due to lack of law enforcement.

Googled his name and Wow! What a POS how in the world is this guy loose on the streets? Pages of articles of past arrests. Unbelievable that he has not injured or killed anyone yet! His uncle shouldn't have used rock salt.

Mom and sis aren't prizes either. This family is a like a throwback to the wild west - or maybe Appalachia - but with meth instead of moonshine.

So with that argument lets discuss the fact that you say if we make it legal to grow the cops will have more time to catch bad guys instead of growers.

But what if they aren't catching the bad guys when they have a chance?
So they will have more money and time to not be able to prosecute bad guys, let alone catch them.

So now we have two sets of criminals and drugs instead of one.

Not speaking for the above person but rather myself. The legal growers do make it to where the illegal growers wouldn’t stand a chance in hell. The proceeds not only fund the sheriffs department, but the revenue from dispensaries is money that can be allocated where needed. Marijuana, is no more harmful then a cigarette, especially if ingested rather then smoked. Alcohol is more problematic. Despite your views on marijuana, which I don’t blame you for, it’s been ridiculed by major farma for 50 years. A lot of old school mentality about it. Just ask yourself this. Do you think it’s worse then alcohol or some of these crazy prescriptions now and days? Only difference is, corporations don’t ha e control of the market. Back to the main issue,The original comment or is right though, what’s the major issue in this county is the justice department. I’ve never seen so my plea bargains given in my life! Especially to repeat offenders. Time to replace some judges!

No names of potential suspects, why? You can be accused of sexual misconduct and your name is plastered everywhere and that's without having even shown any evidence in a court of law.

The PINETREE needs to start showing mugshots of those arrested in
our community for things like burglary and selling of narcotics or felons with a gun. This informs the people living near these criminals, especially those with children to let them know, next door that guy who keeps acting nice to my 8 year old daughter isn't a nice guy after all, he's a pos that's dangerous to my family and my neighbors family.
Oh wait, this is the same place that let's spam run on the site for days on end.
          Sorry, I'm rather sarcastic

You all are small minded pathetic people obsessed with gossip and drama because you have nothing better else to do in this dry ass county. You have no proof that it was him, and all you assuming it was him just goes to show who the real low life scum bags are. And this John person running this site needs to take it down. All he does is post slander and over exaggerate things to get things stirring because he's the worse of them all. Get a real job you low life vulture... All you're good at is jabbing other people. All of you are such a waste of time. Move on and get a life. If this happened down in the city no one would take a second glance but since this county is so "goody goody" and filled with yuppies that's all you scum have to do. So all of you are the true criminals. Quit badgering someone you don't even know. Maybe all of you oldies need to start working again because you all are obviously so bored and ashamed with your own lives.

It's very unfortunate. His picture is posted on other sites in the act of stealing on camera. Not just yesterday, but many times.
Proof enough.! You go ahead and try to defend him this time, and the last 50 times with his arrests in Calaveras County, El Dorado County, Toulumne County.
Take a look in the mirror. The issue is all the old people you talk about did go to work and work hard for what they have. Just to have this 30 year old piece of crap steal it and not get a job. We are tired of being violated by the same offenders.

Perhaps you should invite him to join you for church service this weekend. Better yet, have 'em all over for a nice Sunday dinner.
