All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord Bomb made them all.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
How great is Bomb Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

DUH, has anyone ever noticed how “off camber” two of those turns are??? Had a close call last year, young lady east bound got over on my side and her head barely missed the drivers headlamp on my 2500 deisel. Got her attention for sure. Her eyes were so large, almost could see the pupils. Scary stuff....

Well, at least your having fun with the headline. No surprise at all anymore. Would like to take a recent poster up on the idea of a "days without an accident" sign.

If one takes a look back at accidents in that area including fatalities in the past few years, many are local residents as well.

For the most part agree EXCEPT many of the "accidents" in that area involve locals, too. It would seem many of us do not have a healthy respect for our roads. Or perhaps are just so used to them that we forget the dangers.

I agree that the "fix" made it worse. I worked on an ambulance back in the 90's and we'd get accidents in that area but the injuries were minor if any. I also agree people need to slow down to where they can safely drive in there own lane but the quick transition throws you off especially for people not not from here. Heck it throws me off time to time because I've yet to memorize the road with the changes and I assure you I am driving like the other group of flatlanders that drive you crazy, slow and probably overly defensive. That stretch now makes nervous due to all the accidents over the last few years.

But it was fixed, Cal Trans did the job....so what's that tell you?
But...how many warning signs does one need to pay attention while driving??? Do you need a sign to tell you to pay attention while driving? Do you need a sign that when it rains, the roads might be slippery when wet??
If so, Jeff Foxworthy has a few signs made just for you.
