Senate Voting To Get Govt Back Open

Washington, DC...It seems if the logjams have been temporarily cleared enough for the Senate to overwhelmingly vote to get the US Government officially back up and running. For 99.9% of Americans it will be as if it had never been closed. Questions still remain on if the American People will start ranking Washington as functioning better. Congress especially has low approval ratings and this last weekends obvious dysfunction will probably not inspire confidence....

Yes.... Under tRump we are winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, winning, ... RIGHT?

        Like:

        Roy Moore. He LOST...
The 'wall'... It ain't there. LOST!
2 state governor seats switched from Repube to Democrat. LOSSES for tRump!
Speaker Ryan called off a vote on a Trump-backed bill to repeal and replace Obamacare when it became clear it didn't have the support. LOSS...
Trump failed to quash congressional investigations of his campaign's ties to Russia. LOSS ins spite of obvious collusion.
Bipartisan bill to fund the government does not include $1.4 billion Trump for the 'wall'... He LOST!
tRump was forced to give up on his nomination of fast-food executive Andrew Puzder to be secretary of Labor, who had employed an undocumented immigrant as his housekeeper. LOSS...
tRump's push for term limits on all members of Congress... LOST!

So much for all of this winning.

OH, yeah. A Supreme Court Justice and tax breaks for corporate America and the rich. Thank you for that. Mr. President. I am a Democrat millionaire, but I'm happy for that gift.

Davos CEOs' optimism booms on Trump tax cuts
By Noah Barkin Published January 22, 2018 Business Leaders Reuters

Chief executives are more optimistic about the economic outlook than they have been for many years although anxieties are rising about geopolitics, cyber threats and terrorism, a survey showed on the eve of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

The PwC survey of nearly 1,300 CEOs found that 57 percent expect global growth to improve in 2018, almost twice the level of last year and the largest increase since the survey began in 2012.

The optimism was especially strong in the United States after a year of robust growth, deregulation and tax cuts under President Donald Trump.
              $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Thank You President Trump for keeping Your Promises.

Pense told the troops the Dems are holding up their pay- lie.
C. McCaskill offered an amendment to the CR to allow the troops to be paid .
McConnel refused to allow the amendment.
Once again the Repubs lie.

You make it sound like The Donald is the first liar in politics. Have you forgotten JFK, LBJ and Nixon during the entire Vietnam war?

Politicians are genetically incapable of telling the truth even to save their own necks. Look at either of the Clintons.

There's a lot of truth in the old adage - How can you tell if a politician is lying? Their lips are moving.

Not the first liar . But definetley the biggest, most frequent liar ever in American political history. He lies an average of 5.6 times per day. He lies about stuff that doesn’t matter, he lies about anything to try to belittle others and make himself look grand..

And when he gets confronted on a lie , he lies again saying he didn’t lie.

Congress is almost as corrupt as the Clinton Family
Posted on: 2018-01-22 15:53:59   By: Anonymous

It does not matter what party these congressmen are in. They are not for you or I, they are for their party....as in each other, not for the people, but for themselves and their own agenda. Sadly this is as plain and simple as the nose on your face, if you don't believe that, you're extremely dense, ignorant, hoodwinked or have the mind of a 3 years old. Sorry if you're offended, but I'm offended by their actions and their daily lies to all of us.

As addendum, they also do their work at the behest of their wealthy contributors. Again, that's both parties. We The People lost our representation years ago and especially after the "Citizens United" Supreme Court decision.

Schumer fought for DACA and CHIP ( health care for children) and had a deal with Republican leaders. They went to Trump. Trump waffled and killed it. Schumer , Dems, and some Repubs withheld votes to pass the budget resolution. Trump screwed the deal for his own power play. Schumer tried but had to back off because no budget hurts everyone.

So trump is the problem. He wont tell anyone what he wants and then sticks to it. Instead he plays games. He says figure it out then come see me.. but when they do agree he pulls the rug out, backtracks, lies and blames everyone else. Even speaker of the senate McConnell said that . No one can trust trump. Other Repubs say that too .

Trump is the biggest scumbag to ever hold national public office. Cheat, lie, flip flop, accuse and divert, belittle others. He is tearing down our society and government. He is destroying any faith we hmay have in our government.. his apparent goal is to use his position to make more riches for himself and his family and he costs our government millions upon millions of dollars for extended security and vacations to his own properties. Add to that he has no idea how government works or what the laws and constitution require. He is a vlownard of the highest order, promising what he can’t and won’t deliver except of course tax breaks for himself and the super rich. Anybody who supports this buffoon is living in a fantasy world.
