A Patriotic Celebration at Hazel Fischer School
The Arnold Lions Club joined the students at Hazel Fischer School on Friday to start this patriotic President’s Day weekend. As part of their Children’s Program, Lions Clubs promote patriotism and respect for the American flag in elementary schools across America each February.....
The students and staff at Hazel Fischer put on a wonderful program that included patriotic songs and several demonstrations of the students' knowedge of the flag and citizenship. The Boy Scout Color Guard provided the Opening Colors ceremony, adding just the right amount of respect and dignity for this special day. The Arnold Lions, as always, were excited to be a part of this day and provided flags for each student. We were all proud of the kids!
