Spring Returns as We Warm Into The Weekend

Arnold, CA...The National Weather Service forecast for the West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada. Today Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. At lower elevations, scattered rain showers in the morning, then scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. At higher elevations, scattered rain and snow showers in the morning, then scattered rain showers, snow showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Not as cool. Highs 41 to 56 higher elevations...57 to 65 lower elevations. Snow level 6000 feet increasing to 7000 feet in the afternoon. Prevailing northeast winds 5 to 15 mph. Tonight Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly clear. At lower elevations, scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the evening. At higher elevations, isolated rain showers, thunderstorms and snow showers in the evening. Lows 27 to 42 higher elevations...40 to 48 lower elevations. Snow level 7500 feet. Prevailing north winds up to 10 mph shifting to the northeast after midnight.




Wednesday Mostly sunny. At lower elevations, a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. At higher elevations, a slight chance of rain showers, thunderstorms and snow showers in the afternoon. Warmer. Highs 46 to 61 higher elevations...62 to 70 lower elevations. Snow level 7000 feet. Prevailing north winds up to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night Mostly clear. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows 30 to 45 higher elevations... 43 to 51 lower elevations. Snow level above 8000 feet. Prevailing northwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the northeast after midnight.

Thursday Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs 51 to 66 higher elevations...65 to 73 lower elevations. Light winds.

Thursday Night Mostly clear. Lows 38 to 53.

Friday Mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs 58 to 73.

Friday Night Mostly clear. Lows 40 to 55.

Saturday And Saturday Night Partly cloudy. Highs 58 to 73. Lows 39 to 54.

Sunday Through Monday Mostly clear. Highs 57 to 72. Lows 38 to 53.
