Angels Camp Resident Arrested for Stabbing

Angels Camp, CA...On May 7, 2018 at approximately 1:25 PM, officers from the Angels Camp Police Department and deputies from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a man walking on Booster Way covered in blood and carrying a knife. As officers were responding to the area, a second 911 call was received from a man in the 1100 block of Bret Harte Road stating he had just been stabbed.

When officers arrived in the area, they located 22 year old Angels Camp resident, Michael Madrid, standing outside of a residence near the 1100 block of Bret Harte Road. Madrid had blood on his shirt and told officers he had been stabbed by the victim in a fight.

Officers located the victim in the 1100 bl ock of Booster Way. The victim told the officers that he had been stabbed by Madrid and he fought with Madrid to prevent further injury to himself.

The victim said that he and Madrid were in a residence in the 1100 block of Bret Harte Road when Madrid came up behind him and tried to stab him with a knife. The victim began to fight Madrid and was able to wrestle the knife away from Madrid. The victim ran out of the house with the knife and began yelling for neighbors to call the Police for assistance.

The victim suffered moderate injuries and was treated at a local hospital and released.

Madrid suffered minor injuries while fighting with the victim. Madrid was treated at a local hospital, then booked in to the Calaveras County Jail for the following charges:

245(a)(1) PC – Assault With a Deadly Weapon
243(d) PC- Battery- Serious Bodily Injury
417(a)(1) PC – Brandishing a Weapon

He's an Anal Camp resident? Kind of looks like one of those dreamers who sit on the wall drinking and shooting up laughing at our immigration laws.
Keep dreaming.
RIP Katie Steinle, Lord knows your Mother and Father don't since the day a felon and six time deported illegal shot and killed her.

In the picture, snapped in the darkness of a Wilton vineyard, Jack Kautz crouches behind a dead buck, smiling as he holds up the animal's head by its freakishly large set of antlers.

It was a buck for the record books with sprawling antlers about an arm's width apart. If Katuz 52, had been had been able to claim it is a official trophy, he could have added it to his long list of accomplishments detailed on the website of his family's Lodi grape growing business, Ironstone Vineyards.

yeah, reposting the deer story tidbits sounds like the unhinged psycho who runs that sierra sentinel site.

Just the saddest, most bitter social warrior who's lost track of what really matters.

Todd is one of the good guys. He's a nice, caring antisemitic. A wonderful bigot, social profiling public servant. Community leader that represents angels camp just as it should. Hey where did the troller go anyway, all those nasty comments on the enterprise just abruptly stopped. Very strange... strange indeed. Guess someone had to give old big chief a spanking.

Look I'm aware of where we live, I'm aware of the mind set of certain people in this community, but I will not support a town that bleeds such hate. I have not given a penny to angels camp in over two years. My buisness goes elsewhere, at least I'm not the only one. So, BINGO as well.

No Todd is really a good guy! When we were coming home from Sonora the other day (almost at the house) we passed by 3 ACPD cars on Booster Way-which was cool since that slows the speeders down on the street-and they were on the job! I know the whole story. Yes this kid is trouble-doesn't matter what race he is, and he is LEGAL. So before some of you folks start pointing fingers and making assumptions, you need to do some serious research instead of quickly making statements.

In addition, I used to run these streets around here (as well as other places) way back before some of you people were even thought of and you don't intimidate me-in other words do not respond since you're a waste of time. Thank you
