Frog Jump Committee on KFBK's Pat Walsh Show May 9th at 8PM

Frogtown, USA...(Angels Camp, CA)...On May 9th at 8PM, volunteers from the Frog Jump Committee will be interviewed for the third consecutive year on KFBK’s popular Pat Walsh radio show. Bill Proctor and Bob Lema from the committee will discuss the Frog Jump’s 90th Anniversary Birthday Party and Bill’s recollections of tactics and psych-ops he employed to win seven Frog Jumps over the years. Also discussed will be the great “Going Frog Wild” Calaveras County Fair, and the dedication of this year’s Fair and Frog Jump to the “Calaveras Frog Jockeys”, whose original member families have won over a half dozen Frog Jumps.

Other topics will likely include the many special jumps and visits to schools now occurring by the Frog Jump Committee prior to the Fair, and how listeners can rent a frog or form a team to jump at the 90th Anniversary Jumping Frog Jubilee. The 2018 Fair and Frog Jump are from May 17 to May 20 at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, aka Frogtown.

Be sure to tune in to KFBK at 1530AM, May 9th at 8PM. The interview will be live during the 8PM to 9PM hour.

Event occurs on 05/09/2018 from 08:00 PM to .

The Frog Jump Fair is all about the environment.
Where else do frogs get to compete with their ability? You need to learn to share OUR environment.
        Brribbit.

County Fairs are an endangered slice of Americana. The celebrate small town values and yes they do draw tourists and hopefully some of those tourists can take so of those small town values home with them and make their communities better as well.

Frog Town is beautiful year round..

          Beautiful year round?

Look at the fields on Monday after the fair! Destroyed and filled with litter and beer cans! That's real beautiful there! Not!!

Anyone stop and think about the people who have to pick all that flatlanders bull*bleep* up? Nope! It's not beautiful to them!

The fair just makes things worse in Calaveras county!

I visited Golden Gate Park after EARTH DAY, 2017, there was enough trash there that my recycling company loaded 3 of th 30 ft. Bins with everything from lawn chairs to flash lite batteries! Your worried about the FROG JUMP! Police your friends that trash Golden Gate Park before you complain about a little County fair! Citizens of our county are just as bad about trashing places! We used to pick up trash after Bret Harte football games, no Flatlanders there, just lazy slobs, just toss it, someone is paid to pick it up! I told and required my own kids, that what you brought with you left with you, not to difficult if you teach your children to do it the right way!

      Once again well said!

Hey ThePinetree staff do a story on how the flatlanders destroy the Pinecrest beach sometime during the summer!

Maybe they can figure out why they do what they do!

Why they let their kids waddle wild! Why the bitch moan and complain about the food at the snack shack! Why they expect food to come out in a minute or two when there is a line a mile long!

Why they think they can park in employee parking.

Why they think they should get special privileges.

See it's a whole story that would be worth while reading!
