Mark Twain St. Joseph's Announces Values in Actions Awardees

San Andreas, CA...The Values in Action Awards honor individuals for outstanding contributions to the health care mission of Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. This year the Values in Action awards were presented to employees that best reflect our Values on the job and in our communities. Recipients represent all five of our values – Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Excellence and Stewardship.

Recipients of this year’s Values in Action include Ceecee McPherson for Dignity – Respecting the inherent value and worth of each person; Evelia Ruiz for Collaboration – Working together with people who support common values and vision to achieve shared goals; Karen Bishop for Justice – Advocating for social change and acting in ways that promote respect for all persons and demonstrate compassion for our sisters and brothers who are powerless; Crystyl Hollister, Excellence – Exceeding expectations through teamwork and innovation; and Dean White for Stewardship – Cultivating the resources entrusted to us to promote healing and wholeness.

The overall Values in Action Award recipient for exhibiting all five values is Kassie Waters – Promoting effective use of resources, building teamwork, fostering an environment of hospitality and trust, promoting fairness and justice and implementing the connections between personal goals and behaviors and the organization’s Mission and Values.
