Clyde Clapp, Against the Asphalt Plant & Against Pot ~ Bob Vera

Rancho Calaveras, CA...I hope the people of District 5 will vote for Clyde Clapp for Supervisor. Clyde has proven himself with his dedication to his District and to the whole County. He was front and center standing up to fight the Asphalt Plant that they tried to shove down our throats. When he saw all of the criminals invading our County to grow Pot he decided to fight against it and he worked to change what the previous Board of Supervisors had created. In less than two years he gained the support to ban the Commercial Pot Grows.

Every week you can read stories in the papers of the criminals that are arrested and the huge damage that they have created by stripping homes inside walls and ceilings to turn them into grow houses. Many of these people are from China and from other parts of the world. The pollution that they leave behind in homes and on land where they decide to grow will take years to clean up. Clyde has no problem with the people who use Pot for medical reasons and he supports the 6 plants rule, but he will not allow our County to become a place where criminals and the homeless come to get high and do their crimes.

Clyde is a person that will always listen to your ideas and share his with you. Don’t be fooled by politicians who make promises and vote another way once elected.

Thank You,
Bob Vera

Bob, Clyde and his supporters are complete morons, and clearly you haven't distinguished yourself from membership in his parade of horribles...

The voters of Calaveras County REJECT Clyde's attempts at governing through the use of fear, innuendo, and hyperbole.

Facts matter, and you idiots are about to learn this lesson in an extremely painful (politically) way...

Mr. Vera (and any D-5 voter for Clapp). The man is a cancer. June 5 is right around the corner, so you can't see him in action much until then. Anyone who has seen him in action over the last year of so is flabbergasted how this man is helping set county policy. He is a moron, a bigot, a sexist, an idiot. Its okay Clyde, just resign and get out of the government center. We will all forget about you quickly. If you stay in office, its just a matter of time before we have you removed by one means or another. You are incompetent and a complete.....oh never mind, you are just incompetent. Anyone in D-5 who votes for him is also incompetent.

Too bad. Our roads could use quite a bit of asphalt - not to mention the funding to support repairs that could have come from a regulated industry.

Bob, legal commercial growers do not hide and tear up homes as you and Mr. Clapp keep saying. In fact, the only reason you're hearing about these Chinese indoor grows is because they are illegal and are being busted and the only reason the sheriff can bust them is because of the money they've received from the legal commercial growers. Next time before you put out a misleading article please get your facts straight.

Times up, out with the clapp! Bob, how do you honestly support this man? His human values are as bad as the human fecal matter he let pollute our community? That's okay with you? Do any of his supporters actually have a brain, listen to yourselves, it's complete bias. So poop running down from his rentals not having drainage is fine but scream over marijuana hurting our county and hurting our environment, well for clapp you all applause this, some twisted folk round these parts.

For all you dumb asses who think the Sheriffs Office receives a lot of money from dope your listening to people blowing bull. The Sheriffs Office can not hire more deputies with what little money they get. They can pay for some overtime but that’s it. Those signs by the old airport going into San Andreas that say the Sheriffs Office will get 11 million are nothing but a lie!!! Isn’t it a joke how Marijuana went from medical to recreational.

Okay Vera, once again you can't get the facts straight and you just keep making stuff up. The Sheriff has received a lot of funds, they aren't anymore because the three stooges won't give them anymore because they have cut the source of that income. And really, read the sign, it does not say $11 million to the sheriff, it says taxes, quit making this crap up! By the way, it was Tofanelli that put the sheriff's office in such a bad way back in his first term and the last group of supervisors help get them back in the black, now here he goes again and this time he has Clapp and Mills with him, sure, now collusion here...

District 5
Posted on: 2018-05-18 22:20:10   By: Anonymous

Why are so many from outside district 5 so interested in my district and choose vulgar and disparaging post against the man we voted to represent us? Because of the commercial marijuana growing and this is just one example of the damage done by criminals who have no respect for our county or it's citizens as they put their personal gains and profits in front of the good of our county. Clyde's opposition is not from his district and his opponent encourages it.
