Hospital Seeks Volunteers to Support Gift Shop

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation is seeking high energy volunteers to assist in the Hospital Gift Shop. Gift shop volunteers assist in daily operations, run the register, open and close, inventory, restocking and customer service. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week.

The “Gifts of Love” hospital gift shop is privately owned but benefits the Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation’s Scholarship Program. In the 2018 Academic Year, the MTMC Foundation Hospital Volunteers gave out $6,500 in scholarships to local students at Calaveras High School, Brett Harte High School and Mountain Oaks High School. In addition to the gift shop, hospital volunteers raise funds through bake sales, craft sales and an annual quilt raffle.

To learn more about volunteering at the hospital please call 209-754-2624 or visit www.supportmarktwain.org. Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation’s purpose is to develop resources, funding, and community support for the benefit of Mark Twain Medical Center; to solicit, receive, and maintain gifts of money and property for Mark Twain Medical Center. A not for profit 501-C3, all gifts to the Foundation stay local.
