The Second Murphys Complete Streets Workshop is June 27

Murphys, California – On Wednesday, June 27, the public is invited to attend the second workshop for the Murphys Complete Streets Plan. The project is a cooperative effort between Calaveras County, the Calaveras Council of Governments, and Caltrans to develop a plan for the Highway 4 corridor through Murphys. Based on close coordination and input from the community, the plan will identify and prioritize improvements to provide safe connectivity along the corridor by all modes, including walking and biking.

The workshop will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Old School House, located at 65 Jones Street in Murphys. The workshop will be a review of conceptual design alternatives for various improvements and will help to determine a preferred alternative. Murphys residents and business owners are invited to stop by and review materials and offer feedback.

Caltrans couldn't get Tom Bell Rd and Hwy4 right...TWICE.
When it rains it floods where the wheel chairs access is on the side where
the Murphys car wash is located. I sure hope this won't be another waste of money, as in millions of tax payers money...AGAIN.
Aren't I a ray of sunshine?..... On my shoulders makes me happyyyyy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry....along with a waste of our hard earned moneyyyy ;o)

I agree with you on wasting tax money. There was a bike path pushed thru in Arnold at a cost of 1/2 million. They cut down trees and in White Pines some folks had their front yards cut back. And how may bikes ever use it? Almost none.
Same thing along Mt Ranch Road right below Mt Ranch. Built an expensive and not needed bike path.
Most of the roads in Murphys do not have the width needed to install real sidewalks, and cement serves to damage the trees anyway. Neither do the roads have the width for bike lanes.
Waste of time and a huge waste of money

Commercial Cannabis promised we could pay for bike paths.

Maybe we should ignore everything else that cannabis rapes of us so we can get our bike paths for free.... oh and more library hours.... cuz I love riding my bike and reading a book stoned, I mean uh 'medicated'.
