Desiree Licon 1990 - 2018
San Andreas, CA...Desiree Licon was born July 21st, 1990 in San Jose, CA and passed away July 15, 2018 in San Andreas, CA. She was an accomplished Cheerleader from the young age of 7 years old, cheering for Pop Warner and competitive cheer teams. Desiree was active in Dance and Drama and always loved to write and perform skits to be funny and silly. Desiree grew up very close to her cousins whom she shared a special bond with.
Desiree attended John Vierra High School in Vallecito, CA. After graduating from high school she went on to get her CNA certificate and work for Avalon Health Care as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. While working for Avalon in 2014 Desiree went on to graduate from Gurnick Academy in Modesto with her LVN as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She loved working for Avalon. She loved her coworkers and her patients were family to her.
Services for Desiree will be Saturday July 28st, 2018 at 11am at San Andreas Memorial Chapel located at 254 West Saint Charles Street, San Andreas. There will be a reception following the funeral service at San Andreas Town Hall located at 24 Church Hill Road, San Andreas. All are invited to attend.
There is a Memorial fund set up for her children at El Dorado Savings Bank in San Andreas for donations please visit the bank and reference the Desiree Licon Memorial Fund.
She is survived by her 3 beautiful children Jesse, Jasmine, and Lily. Her mother Wanda Dresser and siblings Lucas Thompson and Ashley Watts. Her Father Jesse Licon and stepsiblings. Her Paternal family: Grandparents Emanuel and Emily Escalante and Aunt Erika Escalante. Her Maternal family: Grandmother Saundra Curtiss, Aunt Wendy and Uncle Scott Filkins, Cousins Gregory and Olivia Filkins, Cousins Bryon Ross, Justin Ross, Summer McGrady and Samantha Bell.
