NINTH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF WINE TO BE HELD IN MURPHYS

Murphys, CA...If you love wine, shopping or just strolling through a charming Mother Lode town, the Festival of Wine is the perfect spring event to do all three! On Saturday, April 19, plan to stroll downtown Murphys, enjoy delectable appetizers and sample extraordinary Calaveras wines from our finest wineries. The wineries will be on hand at each venue to answer questions about winemaking and their own wines in particular.....

The Festival pairs prominent wineries who are members of the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance with charming Murphys Main Street shops for a truly enjoyable afternoon.

When you check in to the Native Son’s Hall on Main Street to pick up your tickets and specially engraved Festival of Wine tasting glass, you will find a Silent Auction featuring unique items from businesses throughout Calaveras County.

The Festival of Wine is more than just an enjoyable afternoon, however. The Festival helps support the Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and its efforts to improve the healthcare in Calaveras County. The Foundation is currently in a campaign to raise $1 million to purchase Digital Mammography technology for the hospital to help improve women’s health.

Tickets to the Festival are $30 and include a complimentary wineglass. Advanced sales are recommended to guarantee your Festival wineglass. Additional tickets will be available during the event. For tickets or sponsorship information please call (209) 754-2603

The Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation whose mission is to continuously improve the health of the community.
