Another Successful Cleanup For Foothill Conservancy Volunteers on the Moke

Jackson, CA...A Successful River Cleanup! Twenty seven volunteers joined forces to clean along the Electra Rd/Big Bar section of the Mokelumne River on Saturday, September 15. Approximately 465 pounds of trash and recyclables were removed along a 3.5 mile section of river, making our local recreation sites healthier for people, fish and wildlife. This year’s most unusual find was a red patent leather platform high heel shoe. The event culminated with barbecue hotdogs and other goodies for everyone. Foothill Conservancy’s annual Mokelumne River Cleanups have been held for 27 years.

We would like to thank all of our participants for their efforts.

Thank you also to our Business Sponsors: ACES Waste Services, Martell Safeway, and Munnerlyn’s Ice Creamery.

All of this is really great. But why the hell do people continue to litter. Treat the cause, not the symptom.

Why the hell do people continue to litter? Because littering idiots don't care. Treat the cause by the Sheriff issuing paint ball guns with cameras. Shoot the litter idiot with the paintball and they are marked and you got a photo.
The Police follow with arresting the painted idiot.

            Season starts yesterday.

Nice job to the volunteers, thank you all involved who pick up the garbage that so many people leave.
What a shame that so many people are pigs polluting our water, our beautiful land, our roadways.
A big thanks to all of you.

PS ~ Reading these comments, it sure seems we have more than our
fair share of mentally ill people commenting here on

Yes we do, and they are all Democrat/liberal/left-wing. Let's see, we have the Dump/Trumptard poster that creates whole threads by replying to themselves, the blank space idiot, the poster with lewd and disgusting memes and vulgar language, the fake lifted-Dodge moron, the "hillbilly" hater, etc, etc. The Dems must be proud.
