November General Election Vote by Mail Ballot Update and Voter Alert of Robocalls and Misleading Mailings for State Propositions

San Andreas, CA...Vote by mail ballots are in the mail and are expected to be delivered by mid-week. If you do not receive your mail ballot by Friday, please contact the County Elections office to have a ballot re-issued to you. Ballots must be returned to the Election’s Office or a polling place by Election Day, November 6, 2018. If postmarked by November 6th, ballots will continue being accepted through November 9, 2018.

The Calaveras County Elections Department is alerting voters about misleading robocalls and mailings throughout the state. The call and mailings are sponsored by a political campaign which states there is an error in the title of Proposition 6 in the voting materials mailed by the County Registrar of Voters; this is an incorrect statement. The California Attorney General prepares the Title and Summary for State Propositions, and the Local Registrar of Voters does not make any alterations to them.

The official and correct Title and Summary for Statewide Proposition 6—as prepared by the Attorney General’s office—can be found in your state voter information guide. There was no error in the Title and Summary, therefore no corrections have been issued by state or local elections officials. You can view the official statewide voter information guide at: http://voterguide.sos.ca.gov/.

VERY MISLEADING!

I read the State issued mail in voter pamphlet about prop 6...what a misleading load of crap, talk about the state being 1-sided & wanting to milk the taxpayer! YES on 6 mean they have to be responsible with their spending, NOT cuts to fixing roads like the ballot said.
They have money for that we've already paid, spend it on roads, not a high-speed train, or homeless housing!!

Don't fall for the special interest double speak.
YES on 6 is the only sane and responsible vote.

Yes on 6 removes money from the funds used to repair roads and infrastructure. That is simple arithmetic, not political spin.

Please vote NO on Prop 6 so California doesn't turn into a third world state.

A vote for Oliveira is a vote for Cal-Waste!

Don’t complain when your rates continue to rise because they are the biggest donor of his campaign!

A vote for Ms. Giveaway, Merita Catastrophe is a vote for waste - about 20M in wasted funds easily over 22 years. What a mess. She should not run. She did too many bad things. She plays favorites and has too many scandals. No more Merita.

Advised to not cast a write- in vote for Ed Langan because he didn't properly register with the county as a write-in. Any votes for him will be tossed out.

Merita Catastrophe is not an honest person. She put us in debt. She screwed up too many decisions. She is why downtown Arnold looks the way it does. There's just too many problems and scandals and unethical lapses. No more. Sit down!

Some idiot is screaming in caps about Mike. The panicked person writing this crap isn't right. He/she sure isn't more right because of yelling in caps. None of that crap is true. Go figure.
