It was a Bjornloppet of a Time in Bear Valley Last Weekend~By John Hamilton
Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley Cross Country had another successful Annual Bjornloppet Race. This was the 35th running of this race in the Bear Valley Meadow. There were even two competitors over 80 years of age. Skiing truly is a lifetime sport. Bear Valley Cross Country had almost a hundred racers this weekend....
Some of the Bear Valley locals did very well in the races. Neil Hunt, Klar-Kristan Picard, Lance Machovsky and more held up well under the onslought of the visiting competitors.
