Over 200 Still Missing as Butte County Sheriff's Office Activates Missing Persons Call Center

Paradise, CA...The Butte County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is activating a Missing Persons Call Center available to the public to provide and receive information about current persons missing from the Camp Fire Incident. This Call Center will be staffed and answered daily from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.

Please call the Missing Persons Call Center using the numbers listed below to report friends or family members you believe to be missing as a result of the Camp Fire. We are requesting calls be made to the Missing Persons Call Center even if you have already reported a friend or family member missing, detectives can advise you of the status of the case, and obtain additional details. After receiving your report, a Detective will call you back at a later time for additional information or, if necessary, instructions on submitting a saliva sample for DNA.

If you have located a missing person that you previously reported missing, please call to report that as well.

Missing Person Call Center Phone Numbers: (530)538-6570 (530) 538-7544 (530) 538-7671

BCSO is asking for the Community's patience as we continue to investigate missing person reports, identify recovered fire victims, and continue to conduct the parcel by parcel search within the town of Paradise, and communities of Magalia, Centerville, and Concow and all those areas affected by the Camp fire Incident.
