Copper Valley, LLC has Purchased Copperopolis Town Square, Saddle Creek & All Castle & Cook Calaveras Properties

Copperopolis, CA....Copper Valley, LLC announces that on November 15th, 2018 it closed escrow on the entire Calaveras County real estate portfolio owned by Castle & Cooke. The acquisition included the Saddle Creek Golf Resort (www.saddlecreekresort.com), a semi-private golf club and residential community located in the picturesque Sierra Foothills, the Copperopolis Town Square a partially completed mixed used masterplan at the intersection of Hwy 4 and Little John Road, Copper Valley Ranch a 1,770-acre undeveloped parcel, Saw Mill Lake a 247-acre parcel just south of the Town Square and various single parcels in Copperopolis.

The Saddle Creek Resort features an 18-hole Championship golf course, bungalows that allow for overnight accommodations and beautiful homes and homesites. Mike Fletcher is a partner in CV Development Partners, LLC the development manager for Copper Valley, LLC. Mike said, “We are very excited about the acquisition and we are anxious to continue to build upon the various development plans put into place by Castle & Cooke”. “The new plans for the various projects are still in the preliminary planning stages and will be released in the first quarter of 2019”. “The first phase will include the construction of homes in Saddle Creek on the existing finished lots, and enhancements to the existing amenities”. “We will also be enhancing and adding to the Copperopolis Town Square”. Troon Golf was selected to operate the golf course, bungalows and club facilities at Saddle Creek.

Just In Time

The recession is coming, they will sit on their investment for years waiting for the next recovery. GM saw it coming, the Dow down 800 points due to the bond market inversion...prepare for a downturn folks. Most economists say with so much world debt the US included, the recovery will take many years, to start. A new paradigm, the time of leveraged debt on debt is over. The chickens came home to roost.

So much for the all-clear sign on Wall Street.

Just when it looked like the battered bull was healing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average suffered a drop of nearly 800 points Tuesday when the bond market sent an ominous signal: The yield on the two-year U.S. government bond rose above the interest rate paid out by five-year notes.

Why the pessimism over that obscure-sounding shift? Historically, when short-term rates rise above longer rates – which is dubbed an "inversion of the yield curve" – it signals an economic slowdown is coming.

It's so obvious Trump is now consumed with worry. He's using his usual MO when backed into a corner - like a four-year old, call the other a stupid head. It's going to be great fun watching him and many of the liars he surrounds himself with go down. Only trouble is, he'll likely take the economy with him because - unlike the man being eulogized today - Trump never learned the art of compromise and reaching across the aisle for the greater good.

You think we're really going to get the general plan in place this time around?
