ThePineTree Has Added a New Twist to This Year's Relay for Life....24 Hour "Live" Telathon!~By Carol Swartzlander
Angels Camp, CA...."Committee members and community volunteers have been working diligently for the past months to make the sixth annual Relay for Life an event to remember. This year's Relay will be held at Bret Harte High School on April 26-27 from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the event. Informational booths on various cancers will be available on site, as well as day-long entertainment, fun, food and games. For those who would like to .....
remember, honor or thank cancer victims and/or survivors and their caregivers and are not able to attend the two day 'party with a purpose', a new twist has been added. Thanks to the efforts of The Pine Tree and local CCTV, the entire event will be live-streamed in cyberspace on ThePinetree.net to be enjoyed from the comfort of your living room. The Pine Tree has also worked in conjunction with our local cable television station (CCTV) to broadcast the opening ceremony, the luminary ceremony and the closing ceremony, along with highlights of the 'party with a purpose.'
